INREACH

Lay Eucharistic Ministry

Lay Eucharistic Ministers are trained to bring the elements (bread and wine) to those in the hospital or who are ill at home. Please call the church office if you want Holy Communion brought to your home or the hospital.  Phone: 928-343-9551

Acolytes & Chalice Bearers

Acolytes are youth who serve at the altar during the weekly Sunday service. This is an excellent ministry for our youth. They learn about Holy Communion and the joy of serving the Lord at His Table.

Chalice Bearers are adults who carry the chalice containing the wine during the Service of Communion.

Altar Guild

The Altar Guild consists of men and women who set up the altar each Sunday and care for the various vestments used on the altar and by the clergy. We seek others willing to help set the Lord’s Table, so please keep an open mind and consider joining us in serving the Lord and our community.

Children’s Ministry

Children’s Ministry (Sunday School)

We guide, teach, and lead our youngest congregants through Sunday school and special events in Christian love. As we reach more families with children, we need more volunteers to help.

Sunday School is held (11:15 am) during part of the Sunday Service. The children receive a blessing and go to Sunday School. They return during the Exchange of the Peace to collect the Noisy Offering and stay for Holy Communion.

Noisy Offering

Empty Paint Cans + Children + Coins = Noisy Offering

CTR gives the Noisy Offering to a different Yuma charity or to a church ministry each week. This is our community outreach in a small but powerful way. Some of our charities are: Saddles of Joy* Hospice* and Altar Guild*
