Our Mission Statement

“Making Disciples to Make Disciples”

Our mission statement is the launch pad for everything we do. We are not able to do everything that needs to be done in this world. By focusing on what links directly to our mission statement, we are better stewards of the finite resources available to us.

As St. Paul tells us in his Letter to the Church in Ephesus (4:11-13): The gifts (Jesus) gave were that some would be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until all of us come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to maturity, to the measure of the full stature of Christ.

Our Vision Statement

Jesus, in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20), calls us to be disciples and to venture outward to make new disciples. Jesus says:

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

In Acts 1:8, Jesus tells his disciples:

… You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you’ and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

Using the model provided by our Lord, we must focus our evangelistic and apostolic action locally, regionally, and globally.
