Brothers and Sisters,

As many of you know, my family had a challenging week. We all ended up ill with norovirus. Alane and I, especially, were quite sick, and I ended up in the hospital with dehydration. That said, we were blessed. The love and support we’ve received from you, our church family, has been nothing short of remarkable.

From giving a late-night ride to the emergency room to covering my responsibilities without hesitation and insisting that I rest without worrying about anything, the people of Christ the Redeemer have loved our family very well. We have found you to be such a caring congregation, and you bear witness to the love of Jesus in profound ways.

I’m blessed and humbled to pastor such a special family of believers.
